Love’s Shadow — Neyah Chantel 2021 - 12x16in

Love’s Shadow — Original Acrylic Painting (2021)

12x16in

Love’s Shadow explores the quiet ways another person can remain with us…even when they are no longer standing beside us. A woman emerges in profile while the subtle silhouette of a man is concealed within her hair, blurring the boundary between presence and memory.

Painted in 2021, the piece uses warm earth tones, metallic gold, teal accents, and layered imagery to capture the lingering imprint of love: something that can become part of us without being immediately seen.

Original acrylic painting. One of one.
